All American Season 6: Cast, Release Date, Latest News, and Everything Else to Know

Inspired by the life of Super Bowl winner Spencer Paysinger, The CW's football-centered drama All American has been a hit since it first premiered in 2018 — so much so that it's also been spun off into the college-set series All American: Homecoming, which has been renewed for a third season. 

In the Season 5 finale of All American, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Olivia (Samanta Logan), who have had a connection since Season 1, confessed their feelings for each other. We are dying to see what unfolds between the two in the upcoming Season 6.

All American Season 6 release date

Season 6 of All American will premiere on Monday, April 1 at 8/7c on The CW. The news was announced by The CW on Feb. 15. (The CW still has not revealed a premiere date for All American: Homecoming Season 3.) What's On Netflix predicts that Season 6 will be available on Netflix sometime in the summer of 2024, as seasons have typically arrived on the streaming service just over a week after the finale airs on The CW.

Previously in December, The CW announced the schedule for its midseason premiere dates, but neither All American nor its spin-off All American: Homecoming were on it. Now, fans can finally set their calendars for the show's return.

What will All American Season 6 be about?

There has been no synopsis of what fans can expect from All American Season 6 yet. In addition to the next stages of Spencer's relationship with Olivia, it's safe to say that we'll see the outcome of the huge cliffhanger from the final moments of Season 5, which ended with Patience (Chelsea Tavares) being stabbed by obsessive fan Miko (Courtney Bandeko). 

Who will be in All American Season 6?

There have been no casting shake-ups announced for All American Season 6. Chelsea Tavares' Patience ended the fifth season with her life hanging in the balance, so we'll have to see whether she survives and sticks around for Season 6. 

Former series regular Taye Diggs previously suggested to TV Line in 2023 that there was talk of his character, Coach Billy Baker — who died midway through Season 5 — making an appearance in Season 6, either in a flashback or as some kind of apparition, "giving sage advice."
